Install was easy. You just plug into wall outlet. Follow simple instructions. You may have to move the unit around a bit to get the best reception between your router and where you need to use the WiFi. I just use mine to get better WiFi in a bedroom for using an iPad. So after installation I just had to go to iPad settings and choose that for my preferred router. I am not “techie” enough to know how this will work for your needs.

If the range extender is not yet configured, its default IP Address is 192.1681.1. Once it is installed on your network, you will need to connect your devices to the extended network.
