it works pretty much with any modem from any company with an ethernet slot. now, if you have a modem/router you need to disable the wifi option on the att router then set this router as the main router or you can configure this router as a wifi extender and place this router anywhere in your home and get a stronger signal. it's not clear what you have but it's usually one or the other for any modem or modem/router combo regardless of the company.
