• This does NOT replace your ISP services. You will need a modem and connection services outside your home/place. This will only address your internal wifi connectivity.

• I would always have a separate route and modem due to the heat factor. The Modem is the gateway and the router separates the stream of information and acts as a firewall.

• Hi, Kelly90. Our Velop routers should be connected to a modem/router working with your ISP so they can acquire internet connection.
