Yes, as long as there is a free ethernet port on the node that you will use to connect your console.

If you plan to hardwire your PS4 into the Velop child node, then it will work, Sauce; just make sure that you've placed that specific child node where it'll still be able to communicate with the main/parent node.

Yes, you can. I did the same exact thing for one of my Smart TVs that was giving me issues with WIFI.
