• Hi, drmiagi. The Nodes are connected as a Mesh but, you can customize the 2.4GHz and 5 GHz band on the Velop system to use different names.

• 2.4 is the standard signal, most Wi-Fi devices use this band. I'm not sure if can be set to only 2.4 but there's no need to do so because all the frequencies work together
