These units will provide a mesh Wi-Fi network. Which means with multiple units located throughout your residence, your coverage should be greater than just the one access point that's in your AT&T router. I have AT&T also and the router is located in the basement. Coverage in my living room and kitchen is great, but if I go to the second floor of my house or outside it often drops off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a comcast router in the basement that also provides wifi. I was unable to get the same wife speeds on the main floor of my home as I did in my basement, there was a substantial loss in signal. After installing the VELOP mesh system I received wifi on the main floor equal to what was being delivered in the basement. I have one unit in the basement that is near the modem and plugged into the modem with an Ethernet cable and the other unit is on the second floor and only needs to be plugged into a power supply. The signal is great and I can now be any where in my home the the system will communicate so that the unit that can supply me the best signal strength will take on that role, seamlessly. I installed the system, using an app on my iPhone, without any problem. For whole house wifi and excellent signal strength throughout, this is an excellent product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have Gigapower service with At&t, the wifi built into the At&t router will not provide anywhere near 1Gbps speed. Mine tops out at about 250 Mbps at 12 feet. Downstairs directly below the At&t router it's about 70 Mbps. At the far corners of my house it's about 10. With this Mesh system you will not only get much faster wifi speeds ( assuming you have 1 Gbps going in- and your devices are capable of receiving latest wifi standards), but also that speed will be available to you throughout your house- not just 10 feet from your router. If you have multiple devices connected to your wifi ( i have 23) you will also reduce the congestion by having 3 different access points for your devices to connect to, and 2 ethernet ports available on each Velop not plugged into your modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Are you using a Wifi router provided by AT&T or your own? If yes, you might want to give them a call. I am not 100% sure but I think they have all the modem, Wifi router and phone function integerated into one device. If you are using your own Wifi Router than you can just replace it with Velop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It only helps the wifi signal reach out further and keep the signal strong.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your modem router plugs into a phone line, then it can be added to your system to create better/stronger wifi signal around your house. However, it can not replace your existing router - it will work as an "extra". If you have a modem router that plugs in with a coaxial cable, then you can replace that modem router with this item and a separate modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it wont benefit you; its a nightmare trying to use an ATT setup with any third party router
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this with AT&T. I have their GigaPower service and this makes my WIFI speed consistent and fast throughout my home. I have tested and found that both wired and wireless connections are the fastest of all modern routers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Velop replaces the traditional router and solves the dead spot/slower speed problem. If you aren't experiencing any issues with signal strength or dead spots with your current set up then the Velop probably won't benefit you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have AT&T also! Their service is horrible!
