Each node does roughly 2000 square ft. Depending on the materials in your house or if you want wifi to cover you deck/yard I would suggest 2 node system
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1 will be more than enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1 should cover approx. 2000 sq ft.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just one should theoretically suffice. Each unit is rated at 2000/sq ft.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Saule, Honestly I cannot see a reason to need more than one of the Velop nodes for 1300 sq ft. The 3-pack claims to cover up to 6000 sq ft. Try the 1-pack first to see if it meets your needs. I think you will find it works well!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. How well does your existing WIFI work? If you have drop zones or places where it slows down then maybe you can benefit from having more than one node. I would recommend at least two nodes but in all honesty just one node will likely be fine. I had one node working for a bit during my setup process and it was fast and coverage over my entire home. My house is just over 3000 sq ft but the main router was in a great location upstairs away from obstructions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One is enough for a home that small. This is really overkill for small homes and provides no real advantage over regular wireless routers, unless you have a lot of interference problems. Even then, 2 would be plenty. Three are not needed in a home this small.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could probably get by with just a single one, two at the most depending on if your modem is not centrally located in your condo... However if you are going that route, for the money I'd consider something different since this system is designed for a mesh and you'll be limiting yourself in configuration options and physical connectivity (should you need it) as a single device only has 2 ethernet ports (one for the modem, and one for a single physical connection).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Difficult to say with certainty as no two homes are alike. Home layout, build materials, nearby wireless interference and such will influence wireless performance differently. That said, the general guideline is that a single Velop node should provide coverage for up to 2000 square feet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1 unit covers 2200 sq.ft. Please refer to specification and features section on product's page.
