that type of structure affects all wifi, however with this system you get nodes that you can locate each in a different area so as to "mesh" the signal together to get better coverage. So each node in an area that will "see" the other node or nodes to get coverage in more rooms.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will work in most environments however, coverage is determined by the distance and construction you are trying to penetrate the signal through. Therefore you have two options: Since you can add nodes as needed, you would place nodes in areas where the system can utilize the wireless back-haul to maintain performance by creating and extending the cells. Or you can run cat5e cable and daisy chain the nodes together which means you could locate them where needed. I would personally go with the wireless method and place the nodes where the system can be expanded as needed. I have a total of 54 devices on my system which includes a number of streaming servers and the VELOP system handles it just fine.
