Some people get the products from the manufacturer before the release date to test them. They are asked to test them and give an honest review...good or bad. This helps the manufacturer to know how the public will respond to their products and if there are any issues.

While I like it a lot, Linksys' App is why I gave it a 4-star not the 5-star I had hoped to give it. These reviews are legit - not fake reviews.

Many reviewers listed as BESTBUY Tech Insiders get the products in advance to provide these unbiased reviews.
