• The parent node is the only one that requires a direct Ethernet connection to the modem. However, the child nodes have the flexibility to connect either via Ethernet or wirelessly.

• Only the primary unit is required to be connected to the Internet source (such as a cable modem) via Ethernet. All other nodes can connect wirelessly
