• It's not really a clip per se but rather a bracket that can be shaped and rests upon your monitor or pretty much anything for that matter.

• Hi Koko, Yes it can. It will take a little balancing act..., just like hanging the curved u-shape handle of an umbrella on a curtain rod. The camera has 2 pivot points: one, for the camera itself; and, two, a clamp-like hinge that opens away from the camera side. This allows you to balance the camera on top on the monitor/tv/screen. • The clip is not designed to clip on anything more than about 1/2 inch thick and it is not very strong.
