• Yes. I purchased a USB extension cable so it would be long enough to plug into the back of my computer and be mounted on top of my screen.

• You are absolutely correct! The cable is not long enough. I used an extension and it works fine. Use as short a cable as you can to promote better signal.

• Yes you can, but you need an adaptor for the cord. Yes you can mount it to the top of the screen.
