“on my computer is a camera but i want to skype or zoom ...... i can see myself but will others be able to see me or do i need the web camera to be able to communicate and see them???”

Any camera connected to your computer should work for Skype or Zoom. So the camera connected to your computer should work. I assume it is a laptop, which will also have a microphone and speakers for audio (although you could also use a headset).
