It should not, but it is possible that if a cable is too long that the signal can weaken as it travels farther which could produce some glitchyness to your livestream, i do not recommend using a webcam as the video recorder for a sermon livestream unless this is going to be about 5-8 feet away from the speaker or else the speaker would look very small (and the webcam captures a very wide angle so there would be a lot of "empty" space) not to mention a webcam does not really have a proper zoom in function (if you did "zoom" in the image quality would depreciate very quickly). i would instead recommend buying a handcam, and hooking that up for livestream recording.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The camera doesn't come with a very long USB cable; however you could buy extensions for USB cables. This may get fairly expensive. Your best bet would be to use the webcam with a laptop that you can move to where you need it rather than buying a bunch of USB extensions. If you are wiling to buy a bunch of usb extensions or a very long extension then this would work for you. With either of those options, this camera would work with you. Only issue would be is the microphone isn't exactly the best and might not meet your expectations for a live-stream.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.USB will only work with a cable length of about 15 ft or so without degradation. If you add a booster or 2 or 3 (powered hubs should work), you should be able to drive that far since the hubs/boosters would keep the integrity of the signal intact.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.USB has length limits. See http://www.yourcablestore.com/USB-Cable-Length-Limitations-And-How-To-Break-Them_ep_42-1.html
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Of course it is a problem. You will have issues transferring the data. Use a laptop and wifi.
