I like the Logitec I pad Pro casing with keyboard and made it convenient to use as a laptop on a stable flat surface like a desk or table. However, the key board is not easy to use while sitting on the chair as it is only attached to the case with magnets. The keyboard would get detached on my lap. The casing by itself is nice as it protects the i-pad from scratches. The kick stand supports the weight of the I-pad Pro very well and I enjoy using it on my lap, long car drives and on air planes.

The stability on the lap is obviously not going to be as well as a normal laptop, but it is def manageable, if you every used the Apple Magic keyboard, it is almost identical to that only difference is that it is longer than it because of the flexibility of the stand on the back on the Combo. The kickstand in general is a very stable for everyday use, lap, table, even vertical use if needed.
