“What is the batteries life expectancy, what kind of battery does it use, and is it replaceable? Also can it be used while connected to USB charger? My plan is to buy a few for workers but if battery wont last long after a few months of continued use and recharge then better i go for something better. Can it be used while connected to USB charger? Plan is for employees to use while at desk and if for some reason step away can just disconnect and continue use.”

I've been using mine for quite a few months, and I've seen no deterioration in battery life as of yet. Also, you can use it while it is charging in your USB port or connected to an outlet via USB.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Battery is internal and not replaceable by the end user. It will work while connected to the USB charger. I don't use mine heavily, so can't comment on months of continued use, but I still get 4+ hours on a charge.

One caveat is this may introduce a low hum through the microphone so its best to experiment with different power adapters or use an external battery pack to isolate from electrical noise. I don't use my headset on a daily basis so battery longevity is not something I can comment on. Logitech did not design the battery to be user replaceable so there isn't an official source for replacement batteries although still possible if care is taken

Afterward, the battery won't charge and the set won't work even if plugged in to the USB. The battery is not intended to be user servicable. End result: after just a little under a year, it had to be trashed and replaced.
