I am getting this for a Toshiba laptop whose keyboard stopped working. Do I need to buy a mouse as well or will this totally replace the functions that my Toshiba keyboard previously did? Thank you for your help.

You will need a mouse. I have had a Best Buy Rocketfish for 8 yrs. Just needs to have a battery every 9 months and to be cleaned after every Big Mac sandwich.

No mouse needed! This will replace your Toshiba keyboard by itself. If you don't want to use the track pad on your Toshiba, you will need to get an external mouse.
