• I think its meant for a windows machine. The keyboard will work, but it won't have an "eject" button for the DVD. If your machine doesn't have a DVD component, than it will work fine. If not, you won't be able to eject a CD/DVD with the keyboard.

• it should be but the command key will most likely be mapped to the windows key, theres a mac specific variant on the logitech website
