Only one blue tooth dongle required for both my mouse and keyboard. So yes, you only need to use one USB port.

Hello MrsA. The K750 uses the Unifying Receiver, so any mouse that also uses a Unifying Receiver will be able to be paired together with this keyboard. You will only need 1 USB for up to 6 Unifying devices. You can tell if a mouse is unifying if there is an orange/yellow star logo on the USB receiver and often on the bottom of the mouse itself.
