Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Almost want to say all of the above. It comes with a pre-paired unifying USB adapter. It also has built Bluetooth. You can pair this with 3 host with either unifying or Bluetooth. For example I have paired mine with 2 host over unifying and a third over Bluetooth. But it can be any comvo it all Bluetooth or unifying if that is your need. Keep in mind it only comes with 1 unifying adapter. If you want to pair with another host over unifying than you need to bring your own.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can work with just Bluetooth. I have my Microsoft Surface Bluetooth always turned on, and if I want to use my keyboard with it, I simply slide a small switch on the side of the keyboard and it is connected. I have had no issues with it at all.

If your computer, laptop, or Bluetooth device recognizes other Bluetooth devices, then no receiver needed. Work laptop is old and needs a receiver; paired easily with MacBook Pro.
