This is not my first Logitech 325. With my previous mouse, I had it for I don't remember how many years and I never turned it off. Just one of those little details that can be eliminated to make life easier. And I have not been turning my current Logitech off and don't intend to or intend not to. Just an unimportant detail to me because it has long life. So, it 's just a personal choice. That's just my experience. I suppose anything can happen.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I always turn mine off when not in use. Otherwise you will be replacing batteries much more frequently. If you remember to turn off, you’ll get a long battery life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will always have to change your batteries eventually, but there is no need to turn off the mouse. It functions as all battery powered devices. I have never had an issue with battery usage and Duracell seem to outlast them all. Batteries also erode over time during long periods of inactivity. But in any event I do not turn off my mouse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are using it everyday I would not turn it off. If you only use it once a week or so, then turn it off.
