• This is not my first Logitech 325. With my previous mouse, I had it for I don't remember how many years and I never turned it off. Just one of those little details that can be eliminated to make life easier. And I have not been turning my current Logitech off and don't intend to or intend not to. Just an unimportant detail to me because it has long life. So, it 's just a personal choice. That's just my experience. I suppose anything can happen.

• I personally prefer to turn it off but it does come with an automatic sleep mode to conserve battery life.

• The battery life is usually quite long. I turn it off when not in use, and the battery last more than a year.

• I always turn mine off when not in use. Otherwise you will be replacing batteries much more frequently. If you remember to turn off, you’ll get a long battery life.

• You will always have to change your batteries eventually, but there is no need to turn off the mouse. It functions as all battery powered devices. I have never had an issue with battery usage and Duracell seem to outlast them all. Batteries also erode over time during long periods of inactivity. But in any event I do not turn off my mouse.

• If you are using it everyday I would not turn it off. If you only use it once a week or so, then turn it off.
