Yes. My MX Anywhere mouse works very well with my Mac Book Pro, but it took a bit more time and effort to set up the software than on my PC laptop.

If you have any issues check your settings under preferences or go to logitechs website and download any driver software needed. Both of these solutions, if needed, are very quick and should take less than 1-2 minutes to complete. Your husband is a lucky guy! Good gift selection!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I cannot answer conclusively, as i have not gotten a new MacBook Pro since the 2015 model, but this mouse works great with my 2 different-era MacBook Pro systems, my 27" iMac from 2016, and a 4-year old macMini system, as well as many Windows and Chromebook systems. I would be astonished if this would fail you on a newer-edition of the MacBook Pro.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will. I have a 2017 15” MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (3.1GHz/1TB/16GB/4GB) running macOS High Sierra and this is the mouse that I use everyday. It’s a fantastic mouse for the MacBook Pro (it even matches) and it still will connect to 2 other machines via Bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use my keyboard with my 2015 MacBook pro and it works fine. hope this helps!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bluetooth is a standard but you know how Apple likes to go their own way. Even if it works today, who knows whether it will still work after the next update. Mine has been used on 3 different windows machines, all worked fine. My family has been and still uses multiple Apple machines but they don't attempt to use them with non-Apple hardware. My recommendation is to go with the Apple mouse.
