It's not USB-C.  That was a disappointment.

1. It is still using "Micro-USB"  
2. It can be configured to use the same receiver as your MX keyboard, but you will need to download the Logitech software and configure that option. If you can't download the software to your computer due to a security policy. You can down the software to a personal computer and get it setup on your personal computer and then move the "Micro-USB" to the other computer.
