I feel it is a pretty decent upgrade, you get the romer G mechanical switches which are both faster and quieter than the Cherry MX Blue switches on the G710. Other than that you get the RGB lighting which is pretty cool, and the ARX dock which i personally didn't find useful. Only downside is you don't get the USB passthrough like on the top of the G710.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would assume yes, this is Logitech's flagship keyboard that runs on their special Roamer-G mechanical switch. The switches feel very nice and they feel much more responsive than cherry reds or razer green. They are clicky but not as clicky as a blue. They remind me of a brown but more responsive. The rgb lighting is very bright and intricate, you have plenty of programmable options 6 macros i dont think many keyboards stack up. I have not used the macros yet but id assume they work well. My only complaint is that when booting the software doesn't save to the keyboard itself so before the software starts it is always a rainbow. If your looking for other keyboards id suggest getting MX brown or MX red. Either this keyboard or the Corsair K95. ✌️
