• It does not come with a screen protector so if you feel that you need one then yes. I don't think that it needs one but you might.

• The Rugged Folio does not have a built in screen protector, so an additional screen protector for your iPad is highly recommended. Most Insignia and Zagg brand screen protectors as Best Buy will work with the Rugged Folio.
