“ever have a problem with subwoofer distortion??”

• Ugh. Distortion is terrible at any subwoofer setting except at almost off. Of course, almost off means that there is little if any bass. I should have purchase without the subwoofer. Takes up space, addition looney tunes wiring is another annoyance.

• You don't need to turn the sub up very far. With the two other speakers the whole system sits right in the pocket midrange of sound you need to be at to hear everything. A lot of systems have the highs and bass, but the voices are too quiet in a movie for example. You turn it up, then get blasted on a loud part. None of that nonsense with this unit, sounds are balanced very well. Once you have your PC, TV, etc volumes figured out, it can't be beat.
