Every TV is different, I tried to connect my old PC speakers to my LG TV using the aux, as soon as I plugged them in, they were full volume. I tried to turn down my TV but that it did not work. My old speakers do not have a volume knob so there was no way for me to turn down the volume. These Logitech speakers do have a volume knob but I only use them on my PC. Connect any speakers or headphones to your TV and see if you can control the volume with your remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your TV has a headphone output on the back or side, you should be able to set it up in the sound menu (if you have that feature) to control the volume with the remote. I have a cheap 55" Toshiba TV that will do it nicely. I got tired of commercials and movie background music being too loud but couldn't hear the people talking. Adding any computer speakers to the 3.5 mm connection on the TV solved the problem since most TV speakers are not very good. I turned the volume on the speakers all the way up and control everything with my TV remote. One last note, I used $40 logitech speakers and they work very well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, unfortunately the volume in controlled by a nob on the right speaker. There is currently no remote option for the speakers. I didn't see any technology for a receiver, so not looking like they will be getting that anytime soon; however they will definitely sound better than your TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The remote of my [Samsung] TV controls the volume of these speaker just fine, plugged into the 3.5 mm headphone jack. Just set the manual volume on the speakers at a good midpoint level, and then control it up or down using the TV's remote. You mentioned "audio out". if you are thinking of something other than the headphone jack, that may be a different story. You can test before purchase by plugging headphones into the TV's headphone outlet, and confirming that the TV's remote will control the volume to the headset. If it does, it will also work for these speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the remote will control the volume of the speakers and they can be alternatively controlled by the speakers itself.
