I have owned the Bose Companion speakers and they do sound good, but not good enough for my tastes. I felt they sounded rather flat and muddy given the reputation. I have also owned Klipsch Promedia 4.1 which is same as 2.1 minus two speakers. The Klipsch sounds amazing, but the problem I had is the poor speaker connection via speaker wires and the fact that they are on all the time even if you turn the power button off which cooks the subwoofer internals until they die, which mine did.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had these and took them back. I did get the Klipsch 2.1 and love them!! The other set sounded empty in the mids. way too much bass. The Klipsch have plenty of bass and it sounds more like a sub and the satellites are so much clearer.
