“How often are we supposed to replace the filter. I don't use the water from refrigerator. Just some ice cube once in a while. So why the replace filter indicator turns ON every 6 months?”

• If you are using it for ice cubes than you are using the filter. if the fridge is making ice that is using the filter.

• Every 6 months is the recommended time frame for the filter to be replaced and it is not based on actual consumption. ^Daphane
