No! That's the main reason that I returned it.

No. Apple doesn’t have any first party peripheral that is backlit

The version I own (silver/black keys/2022) is NOT backlit, sadly.

No it is not- I didn't realize it until after I bought it. I ended up buying a monitor lamp to solve the issue though. The keyboard itself is worth it if you have an M1 mac.
