Magic Keyboard is now available with Touch ID, providing fast, easy, and secure authentication for logins and purchases.
Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad delivers a remarkably comfortable and precise typing experience
It features an extended layout, with document navigation controls for quick scrolling and full-size arrow keys, which are great for gaming
The numeric keypad is also great for spreadsheets and finance applications
It’s wireless and rechargeable, with an incredibly long-lasting internal battery that will power your keyboard for about a month or more between charges¹
It pairs automatically with your Mac, so you can get to work right away
And it includes a woven USB-C to Lightning Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac
¹ Testing conducted by Apple in March and April 2021 using preproduction Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad units, firmware, and software paired with preproduction 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M1 chip.
Testing consisted of full battery discharge while engaging the device on a paired iMac using automated equipment. Battery life depends on device settings, usage, and other factors.

Q: QuestionIs this $200 keyboard backlit?(14 answers)
A: AnswerNo! That's the main reason that I returned it.Answered by Reifou
Q: QuestionWill this magic keybiard work with sn old Mac mini?(12 answers)
A: AnswerThe Magic Keyboard comes with new Macs but it also works with old Macs, and with iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. It connects over Bluetooth, so you can pair it with anything and everything that supports that standard, but Apple's also made it pair instantly over Lightning with the Mac, making it faster and easier to get started than ever. You do need a new M1 or later apple chip for the sensor key to work.Answered by TomBom

Phenomenal with a Catch
The Apple Keyboard offers excellent tactility, a well-built design, and a sleek appearance. Its impressive battery life enhances its overall appeal. However, the absence of backlighting, considering the price point, is a notable drawback. Despite this caveat, it does offer Touch ID which in my book makes up for what it lacks.

Smooth and Easy
I got this for the number pad and it’s wireless. It somehow holds a charge for days. The touch is the best of any keyboard and I have tried. The “Magic” key pad fits perfectly with it. Best combo I’ve found. I highly recommend this.

Apple converted me -- I won't go back!
I never thought a keyboard would be worth the $100 this cost, but it is worth so much more! The typing has the right clicky sound that is super quiet. The tactile feel is perfect. The fingerprint scanner saves me loads of time when logging into client files with passwords. I won't go back to non-Apple products after years of being a hater.
