The Marantz 7706 is a pre-amplifier controller that requires external amplifiers. The amplifiers you choose to connect to the preamplifier would be where you’re speaker connections would connect.

The three prong plugs you are referring to are balanced outputs to connect to a separate amplifier. I would like to recommend the MM8077 7 channel amplifier and two of the MM7025 2 channels amplifiers. The MM8077 and the MM7025 both have banana plug terminals.
