“My receiver, a Yamaha TSR 700, says it is only compatible with 8 OHM speakers. These speakers say it is compatible with 4, 6, or 8 OHM receivers. What might I expect if I were to match these SLM speakers to the Yamaha?”

Hello. Thank you for your question and interest in our products. While we can only speak on our products, we don't think there should be any compatibility issues with the pairing. Our speakers are compatible with 4, 6, or 8 Ohm-rated amplifiers and a majority of our speakers are on display/demo with 8 Ohm-rated amplifiers, including Yamaha.
