A:AnswerI was not the one that said this trim kit would fit your KA microwave. I did purchase the trim kit to fit a Whirlpool microwave (WMCS7024RZ) that fits well, kinda.
The frame of the trim kit fits perfectly over the microwave, but I had to shave off some of the inner frame to make it flush against the cabinet. To answer your question, the trim kit matched the microwave stainless steel perfectly. But the microwave only had a one inch strip of s/s on the top of the microwave.
