“The display panel stays lit up, no words just a lit up rectangle. It didn't used to do that, how do I reset it? I'm afraid it will burn out.”

• Have you tried turning off the power/unplugging the machine for at least 30 minutes? I know it sounds extreme, but it did reset our Maytag's onboard computer. Unfortunately for us, it still just keeps beeping :(.
