“How much room is needed behind the appliances for installation purposes. I have a limited area and would like to get the Maytag 4.8 washer and dryer that is 30 1/4 inches in depth which is very critical as I have a doorway to contend with. Thanks.”

They recommend 6" behind the washer but when we called they said our 4" was fine.
