• I recently purchased a Maytag dryer and was told I could use my current pedestal. When the new dryer arrived I was told it would not work with my old pedestal. I was more than a little annoyed. But I bought the new pedestal. Maytag will tell you what pedestal you need. Plan on getting a new one.
