This cd player does not come with speakers. I did not realize it when I bought it, so I ended up purchasing a portable bluetooth compatible Anchor speaker which works perfectly. Also note that the cd player runs down the batteries very quickly. So I also had to buy a 5v ac adaptor so I can listen to my audio books at length.
