“I am considering the Eero mesh system. 1) Can I add an ethernet switch by connecting to one of the ethernet ports? 2) If I decide on the 3 eero system (instead of the 1 erro + 2 beacons) do each of the Eeros need to be connected by ethernet?”

Yes my eero pro 2nd Ethernet port is connected to a gigabyte switch. No if you go with the pro 3 pack the other 2 units will work with WiFi connection to the main router
