“How do you know a call is coming in with portal TV. I am assuming the TV is on and you are watching a cable channel on HDMI 1 and the portal T is on HDMI 2. Is there a ringer function in the portal or do you need a cell phone or something?”

Yes, I can answer while watching TV, but I only get two way voice until I switch to the HDMI that Portal TV goes in.

Please try again later.I think it depends on your TV, I have a Sony Bravia that will switch to the HDMI input with signal, example: I have HDMI 1 connected to cable, when I turn on my 4K player it switches to HDMI 2 automatically, when I get a call on my portal it changes to HDMI 3 by itself, hope this helps.
