“I want to use this in a hospital setting for patients but would prefer not to have patient download an app on their personal phone. Can I download the app on the computers (windows) or we absolutely need a phone to use the app? Also is the app necessary?”

You 100% need the app to set up the headset, but after that you don't need it to use it, as far as I'm aware. You could always make a burner account and connect it with someone in the hospital staff's phone, so you have access to it if you need it again, but other than setting it up the app is not always neccesary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think you can download on a computer. I bought it for my husband and he doesn’t have social media. I downloaded it on my phone and he plays, you don’t need to use the app at all. Maybe download on your phone and let patients use it.
