I am a bit confused what cable are you talking about. If you are referring to the charging cord. I never play my oculas while charging. They do makes battery packs you can add to your oculas but everything is purchased separately. My oculas holds a charge for almost 2 hours and that is long enough to be in VR your eyes do need to rest lol. Good luck i hope you enjoy your oculas, i absolutely love mine.....
