“Question; my new computer came with a 30 day trial for MS office 365 Personal. I checked and it is a $69.99 annual subscription. Is there a version available for one computer that you purchase the product, not rent it for a year at a time? Thank you.”

Open Office available for free download does everything I needed to do with MS Office. Google "Open Office"

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You do not have to renew every year, that is optional. However, some if not most of the features will stop working. Say you use it to make a resume and need to makes changes and update it, you won't be able to, it will be a read only version and most times it will not reformat into another type of document. You will need to use someone else's computer that is up to date with the subscription. Hope this helps.
