“This keyboard stops working intermittently (every 10 min ish). I can pull out the dongle and it will work for a few minutes and then stop responding to my typing again. I have given up on the mouse and have started using a different mouse. Please help.”

have you tried replacing your batteries? It could also be happening if you are using a weak USB port. If you have ruled out those two, you should return it/replace it. Mine does not do that, and it has been over one year.
