• Yes the battery will charge when the controller is plugged into a USB on a PC. Yes you can play while it charges.

• Yes if it puts out enough amperage. I have several poert on my PC and one of them puts out more amps then the others. Look at the symbols next to the port to determine which one to use. You can easily find them online for reference if needed.
