We bought the official Microsoft Xbox Rechargeable Battery Pack for our daughter’s 25th birthday, and it’s been one of the most practical gifts she received. Before this, she was replacing AA batteries every few days because she plays so often. Now she simply plugs in the controller to recharge, and it’s always ready to go. No more constantly buying batteries or scrambling to find fresh ones in the middle of a game. The battery holds a great charge, charges easily, and has already saved both time and money. If you’re tired of going through disposable batteries, I definitely recommend making the switch. A simple upgrade that’s absolutely worth it!

This rechargeable battery was easy to snap in place and the charge lasts a long time. The charging cord it comes with is really long which was convenient and it's USB-C so when I'm using the controller, I'm using the cord to charge my iPhone.

The XBOX One and Series X/S should’ve shipped with these but I’m happy that Microsoft gives the end user options. The battery life is amazing compared to my PS5 rechargeable controllers and if their lifespan ever diminishes, you can just buy the replacement batteries instead of buying a whole new controller. Pricing for the Play & Charge kit and controllers are also affordable compared to Sony or Nintendo products. I’m very happy with this option… also, works flawlessly on my PC compared to other controllers which you would have to either use the Steam overlay or a special app overlay to make it function in a bootleg manner.

This battery pack is SO simple, but it lasts for like 12 hours for me. Great cable too. It’s like three to four feet and charges really fast too.

I only have one of these but definitely want to buy more. You can still use the controller while it's changing. One issue I did find was that in my more used controller it wasn't charging because the metal contacts on the controller had been bent down over time. So to solve this issue I used a flat head to bend the metal back or you could use a piece of tin foil. Just a heads up if you bought this and it wasnt wasn'tcharging.

This is product is great to use for your xbox series controller. If you run out of battery for the controller all you got to do is just charge with a usb type c cable. I love it. I brought two of them.

X-Box Controllers consume battery life too fast for conventional disposable batteries to be practical! This is the perfect solution and well worth the money - Makes it easy to just plug in your controller to charge it once in a while, and never worry about battery life again! There is no need to remove the rechargable battery for recharging - just plug in the controller during non-use.

The battery has been very good. I've had it for over 24 months and haven't had any problems.

This is definitely a must have for gaming. These battery packs save money and time from switching out old batteries back and forth. Just hook the USB cable up and keep playing while it charges. I also think they hold a better charge than other competitors.

Everything work great. It works with both my Microsoft and Scuf Xbox controllers. I would rate it 5-stars but it’s still aggravating that Xbox controllers don’t come standard with these.

This item works a lot better than i had expected, I thought it’d be something you have to charge and then you can plug it in, and then you’d have to take it out to charge it again, but rather you put it in the controller, plug the controller in with the given cord, and then the battery charges, even when the xbox is off. So you can plug it in before you go to bed and have a fully charged controller in the morning. however if you want to use it with a old gen controller you need to use a different cord than the one given.

A must have product for any Xbox gamer. Holds a solid charge, and charges quickly when in a pinch. Must buy product to replace the batteries that come with each xbox controller.

I like this kit since it offer a rechargeable battery and a cable to connection to the console which recharge as you play.

I bought this item item to keep from spending money on batteries for my controller because they always die quick. It lasts a very long time and comes with a type C usb cable which is very very long. The usb c cable is worth the price of the battery alone. Great value and great buy!
