• No, it does not include Word. You will have to buy a 365 subscription or buy Microsoft Office. There are other vendors that offer a word document application for free. Open Office has been around for years and is great for personal use. There is also Google Docs - but you will need a google account. You can use these applications to access and modify document is in MS Word.

• Yes, Surface Laptop 4 comes preloaded with Microsoft Word, however, it requires a license or subscription to use.
