“Can some one please confirm if this is the much hyped Surface Pro 5 as I am confused with the name without 4 or 5. Some sites say it’s surface Pro 2017. It is confusing”

I am a retired Microsoft employee (1988 - 1999), and I just purchased this machine to replace my computer. I could not be happier ... matter of fact with this I7 processor, I am able to do graphical design and other things much faster. Being able to turn into a tablet, with just a snap off the keyboard) .... by the way magnetic ... I can have the benefits of both. I waited all these years to let the company perfect the product (as I learned long ago to NEVER buy Version 1.0 of anything). I do not think you will go wrong with this device for your needs. I hope this review helps in making your decision.
