“Can any surface pro be connected to a second monitor?”

• As long as the device has a mini-DVI port or if you are using the Surface Dock (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-surface-dock-black/4561910.p?skuId=4561910) it will be able to attach to a second monitor. I use the DVI port at customer meetings but while home I connect my old Surface 3 and now new Surface 6 to the dock it it works great.

• Yes, you can connect to a second monitor via the Mini DisplayPort on the side of the Surface pro 6, a HDMI to Mini DisplayPort adaptor, Wireless Display Connecting via Wifi, or with the new USBc display adaptor on the Surface 7.
