“Can windows 10 be installed on a machine that has no current operating system on it?”

• Dear Dork1001; Yes, Windows 10 will format and prepare the hard drive, whether used or new, and you'll be up and running. Follow your instructions for installation. It normally takes about 15-30 minutes to install Windows 10. Hopefully, you'll have all your drivers working (sound, video, WiFi) after the installation finishes. Good question. • Yes, I just installed it on a computer that is 7 years old with no issue. Re-established the partitions and the install was faster than prior versions of the operating system.
